PLAN B

On August 28 I broke my rt lower leg. Seems in a moment your life changes . I havent written on my blog about this until now because my focus for the last couple weeks has been : Eat , sleep Pee,Sleep add in pain med before each of my sleeps. Ive decided its time to join the living. I have a hair appointment today. Really looking forward to that. I may be broken but Im still here.I have new furniture in my home due to my changed lifestyle. A new lazy boy recliner which by now has memorized my backside. I have a walker and a wheel chair to help me get around. I have a chair for the shower. Yea!! I get to shower.!!!!!! I am able to get to the bathroom by myself as well as to the kitchen to find food. Roger has been awesome..He has done everything that needs to be done. I am so grateful to him for his good care and patience with me. Dr says no weight bearing for at least another four weeks on that foot. So wont be able to work for awile. I feel fortunate that I am able to take time out to heal.

It's June Already!

Can't believe how fast the last few months have gone. Its spring almost Summer. We have two new beautiful grandchildren . Aletha and Brian had their 4th child, Alivia Joy Kenworthy . Her middle name comes from her mother(Aletha Joy ) and from her great grandmother (Phyllis Joy Latimer) . Chelsea and Chad had their 2nd , Jett Allen Davis. His middle name for his great grandfather, George Allen Latimer. Every one is fine ,although, we did have a little drama in that Aletha and Chelsea had to have surgery on the same day ! It had been decided that Aletha would need a C-section and on the very same day , Chelsea called and informed me she would be going in to surgery to have her appendix removed. Chelsea had delivered her baby the week or so before . I had been staying in Utah to help . Not too long after I returned home, Wes broke his collar bone, skateboarding. THAT' S QUITE ENOUGH! Everyone is recovering nicely. ME TOO!
